About Spirit Free Cocktails
Spirit Free Cocktails is a home for alcohol-free drinks made with the same care as anything on a good bar menu. Every recipe comes from a person who makes drinks, whether that is a working bartender, a home enthusiast or a brand's own team, and each one is written to be made at home.
Who it is for
It is for people who are skipping alcohol, whether for a month, a season or for good, and for the people mixing drinks for them. It is also for anyone who wants something good in the glass on a night when they are driving, up early or simply done with hangovers. You do not need a bar cart. Most recipes use things from an ordinary grocery store, plus an alcohol-free spirit or mixer when a drink calls for one.

How recipes are chosen
A recipe appears on this site only when it is marked alcohol-free and its ingredient list backs that up. We check ingredients against that mark, and when a recipe turns out to include a spirit, liqueur, wine or beer, it comes off the site.
What alcohol-free means here
Alcohol-free on this site means a drink under 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV) once every ingredient is counted, which is the line most labels use for non-alcoholic products. Alcohol-free spirits and de-alcoholized wine or beer fit inside it. A drink that needs a regular spirit, liqueur, wine or beer does not.
A note on THC drinks
A few recipes use hemp-derived THC or CBD ingredients. They contain no alcohol, so they can appear here. Read the ingredient list and check the rules where you live before you pour one.
